Stumbras Vodka: Reviving Traditional Lithuanian Vodka Making

A Modern Twist on Classic Design

This collection of traditional vodkas, made up of Stumbras' Classic, Rye, and Potato vodkas, combines traditional production techniques with modern ones. The design, created by Studija Creata, reflects this combination by presenting traditional standards in a modern and intriguing manner.

The standout feature of the design is the green glass bottle, a unique element that reinforces the brand and stands out in the competitive environment. The bottle's design includes pleasant and eye-catching details, such as a curled cut-out form reminiscent of old photographs and a slanted bar on the bottom that complements the classic symmetrical composition. The fonts and colors used convey the identity of each sub-brand within the collection.

The design also incorporates dates important to Lithuanian vodka making and legends based on true facts, adding a sense of history and authenticity to the collection. The overall result is a traditional vodka collection that is untraditional and interesting.

The design realization technology includes flexo printing, cold foil, and embossing, which contribute to the high-quality and visually appealing packaging.

The Stumbras Classic vodka collection comes in a 500 ml bottle with dimensions of 70 (w) x 220 (h) x 55 (d) mm, providing a convenient and stylish option for consumers.

Introduced in late summer 2013, this line of traditional Stumbras vodkas has been well-received and has garnered recognition in the design industry. The design was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2014. This prestigious award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation.

The Stumbras Vodka design, with its unique blend of tradition and modernity, serves as a testament to the brand's commitment to reviving and celebrating Lithuanian vodka making traditions.
